Investing In Our Community!

Dear Friend of the Crawford Campaign,

Many things have occurred since we met along the campaign trail. I want to share the latest news and request your assistance with just over two months until the August 30 primary.

At this time, there are two Republican candidates running for Marion County Sheriff: Ocala Police Lt. Billy Woods, and myself.

Shift Supervisor Billy Woods is asking voters to promote him from overseeing 40 people to directing an operation of 750 people and a $70 million budget. Billy doesn’t have the qualifications or experience under normal circumstances, but with the recent issues facing our department, there’s no time for on-the-job training.

With 36 years of local law enforcement, 26 years in leadership capacity, the last 8 years of Senior Command experience, I have the community and institutional knowledge to implement immediate and positive change. My daily responsibilities included managing about 350 people in all areas of law enforcement, and implementation of a multi-million dollar budget. I am highly qualified to become the next Sheriff of Marion County, but I need your assistance to share the word with other voters.

There are several ways you can help me promote my vision: with a financial contribution, by helping secure sign locations, by placing a small lawn sign on your property, and by volunteering to join us on the campaign. Any and all of these are possible by simply responding to this email.

Folks, there are many fine men and women at the Marion County Sheriff’s Office. I’m excited about the potential once they’re empowered to help bring about needed changes.

Please consider making an investment in our community and thank you for your continued support.
